Shape Factor for Analysis of a Slug Test

Hydraulic conductivity is an essential parameter for groundwater investigation and management. A simple technique determining the hydraulic of aquifers slug test, which consists measuring water level in a well after sudden removal or injection small amount water. The interpretation test based on geometry-dependent shape factor, various empirical relationships approximate solutions have been proposed literature. In this study, factors are derived numerically tests performed monitoring wells with screens unaffected by aquifer boundaries. Also presented new analytical solution predicting large aspect ratio. comparison earlier methods reported literature shows that our results match exceed them terms accuracy. promising because it accurate very easy to apply practice.
